Throughout this Feast Day, the shofar will sound and can be heard throughout Israel. The blowing of shofars releases a sense of awe, expectation, and anticipation of God drawing close. Over one hundred shofar blasts are blown culminating with a final “Last Trump.” The sound penetrates the souls of all who hear, sounding a call to Spiritual Awakening.
