Prophetic Insights for 2023 Part II: Moving From the AGE OF MILK to the AGE OF MEAT!

As a backdrop to this article, I would like to share a related revelation the Lord gave me 25 years ago. After the Flood, God moved the world from a diet of fruits and vegetables to a diet that for the first time included meat (Gen. 9:3). This was a radical shift for the new dispensation begun with Noah. I asked God Why. Through research, I discovered that proteins are the warriors that fight off invading forces in the body. Romans chapter 14:2 tells us that those that eat only vegetables are weak. When fasting, we are far more open and sensitive to the spiritual realm, and if we are not anchored in Christ, we are susceptible to spiritual attack. Think of the spiritual condition of Hindus and their diet—they don’t eat meat. They are spiritually wide open. The corruption of man before the flood was on a scale that God had to destroy and start again…this time with a diet of meat! You might have noticed on the news, the enemy is now trying to rid our diets of meat, AT A TIME WHEN THE ARMY NEEDS PROTEIN physically and spiritually to fight (See 1 Tim. 4:1-4).

There is a world of revelation behind what I am about to share that requires much meditation and seeking the Lord. It regards an age we are crossing into and entering the characteristics of which… possibly have not existed before. We are entering the age that is to come…if you can receive it! God will be releasing an army that learns to live now, in the age to come. They will be those who according to Hebrews 6:5 “…have tasted the good Word of God and the POWERS OF THE AGE (OR THE WORLD) TO COME…” 

The Lord revealed that an army is being moved from an age of immaturity where they have been fed milk into an age characterized by meat. I heard the Lord say to go on the Lion Diet. I recently came across an article on the Lion Diet, which is a carnivore diet. In researching this, I discovered that eating a diet of meat can heal the body of inflammation and sickness. Meat also builds muscles and strengthens the body. Think of the strength and power of lions—what do they eat?

Jesus is the LION of Judah and He was sustained by a Lion’s diet! What did He eat? Jesus said: My food is to do the will of God My Father who sent Me! That is the food and work of a Lion—it’s tough stuff!

I heard the Lord say, Get ready for a season of meat! In the spiritual, God is about to put His Body on a diet of meat—the Lion Diet, where, as we are focused on the Lion of Judah, He will begin to feed us Lion meat, causing us to experience things THE BODY HAD NOT BEEN READY TO DIGEST AND APPROPRIATE PREVIOUSLY—CAUSING US TO BECOME LIKE HIM—LIKE LIONS. The LION will begin to move and speak to and through us intentionally as we feed on Him.

I sense the Lord is saying that the Church of the past age, has been like milk stations. In the past, we have been living a watered-down religion-based Christianity—a learning age where authentic apostles and prophets were rare—focused on influence, image, and mammon.  It has been taught that New Testament prophecy is characterized by edification, encouragement, and comfort; that encourages, centers on, and caters to the needs and sometimes, the egos of babes in Christ.

Edification means the building up of a structure. Paul used this word many times as He was laying the foundation of a new movement. I believe that teaching that prophecy is to be only edification and comfort is a false teaching. Any who stepped outside of that mindset was threatened with cancelation by the religious. Babies do need edification, encouragement, and comfort until they grow up! Yes, all do continue to need to be encouraged and strengthen in the Lord, especially in these times, but the mature have learned to get their sustenance directly from the Lord.

The Body cannot stay in the place of never growing up and always needing a prophecy of encouragement. And if it is to SURVIVE AND THRIVE, it cannot stay there any longer!  The army of God must know how to strengthen themselves in the Lord as David did and be able to hear HARD WORDS and not fall apart. If God wants to bring a warning word, the army cannot collapse under it, fall apart and accuse those bringing it of releasing fear! Armies don’t run and hide when the enemy approaches. The Bible is full of words of warning even in the New Testament! The army of God must have the attitude of Caleb and Joshua, that with God, we can surely take them! Paul had to address the immaturity of the saints in the early church.

  “…of whom we have many things to say, hard to be uttered, seeing you are dull of hearing. For the time when you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that uses milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.  BUT STRONG MEAT BELONGS TO THEM THAT ARE OF FULL AGE (the Mature), even those who by REASON OF USE have their senses exercised TO DISCERN BOTH GOOD AND EVIL.”  Hebrews. 5:11-14 (Emphasis mine)

  “And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and NOT WITH MEAT: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not carnal and walk as men?”  1Cor.inthians3:1-3

I have a sense from God that in this historic move of God that is upon us, the Body is being moved into an age it has not known previously—possibly ever! We have not walked this way before! IT IS THE AGE OF THE BIRTHING OF THE SONS OF GOD—in the prototype of Christ! 

The Lord is showing me that the Body of Christ is His body! You have been born again into His Body! You live and move in Him—in the Lion. If this is true, we must ask ourselves—and we must know, who is this Christ? What is He like? Where is He going? What is He doing, and most importantly, what is His Passion? We need to know these things because in a season, marked by His Passion, we are going with Him where He goes, doing what He does, and saying what He says!

In the Age of Meat—the age of the Lion, where He goes, we go! It is not where we go, He follows and supports our work! No! We are in Him, moving with Him, and as we go with Him, He is moving through us—we become one with the Lion! Here, in this place, all impossibilities are removed!

Paul did not expect people to stay in a place of babyhood.  The Ekklesia of this age will move from being Milk Factories to becoming Meat Processing Plants! These are Lion Hubs where the mature can process the MEAT OF THE WORD of God in its completeness—words that we have chosen to ignore, which have been there all along. Words that are the hard truths of a believer’s walk of living the Cross. 

Jesus, the Lion King is now saying to mature lions, now pick up your cross and follow Me!

This move to meat will cause division. Separation is coming in the Body between those who choose to follow and those who don’t.  Paul said division must happen in order to show those who are approved (1 Cor. 11:19). God is working to bring us into a season of moving out in EXTREME FAITH. We have had years of preparation like Jesus, where we have learned obedience by the things we have suffered. It’s time to go!

Warning, Warning! Detach

God is now saying to His people, detach yourselves from all Idols.  That means houses, things, people, and money. Be ready and willing to leave everything to follow.  We must detach ourselves from things that we may have held or hold dear to us. It’s time to detach and be free from any encumbrance that will hinder you in the days ahead!  Gird up your loins and get ready to run your race. Begin to Detach and Declutter! 

We are now in an age where it has become vital to Guard the gates of our mouths and our mind, as we get our gaze off earthly things and begin to detach from them. We can’t be anxious about anything, what we wear, even what we eat. We are to seek first the Kingdom, and everything we need will be provided. Our minds and our hearts must become fixed on the Kingdom of God.

God is highlighting the words REGENERATION and RENOVATION to me. He is making over His House! Can you not perceive it? The old is being dismantled. God is Dismantling and deconstructing the old and equipping us for the new. A few years ago, I wrote a word about a dream I had of a CRIB; my son who was way too big for the CRIB was sleeping in it. God was showing me that the CRIB represented the Church. I then saw the side rails being taken down and the crib dismantled.  What was left, became a stone that represented a memorial stone, like the one left in the river Jordan when the army crossed over to the Promised land.

The Day of Vengeance of Our God

There is a fire coming, and the restoration and the building work begin in the Fire. We must learn to live and work in the Fire. This is the Year of both Isaiah 60 and Isaiah 61.

Isaiah 60 tells us that in a time of gross darkness, there will be Great Glory coming on the people of God. A time when certain things will happen—nations will come to your Light! The prodigals will come home! Let your Cry be, “COME HOME.” Wealth will come to you—The windows of heaven will open to you! God will be Your Light!  People will come to worship the Lord on Camels loaded with gold. Some of this is from the age to come and will lead to it. We can begin to appropriate now in the AGE OF MEAT. 

Isaiah 61: At Jesus’ first coming in Luke 4:18, He read from the scroll of Isaiah 61 and stopped mid-sentence. He said:

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD…” Isaiah 61:1

We are now approaching the second portion of that scroll that goes on to say ….And the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn… in verse 8, He declares,  “FOR I, THE LORD, LOVE JUSTICE…

This is the year of both the Glory of the Lord and of darkness covering the Earth, It is the year of Lord’s favor and the beginning of the day of vengeance of our God. Glory and Darkness, Favor and vengeance TOGETHER! 

The Lion is about to roar! He will not be silent! We have all known that God would not be silent for long. HE LOVES JUSTICE!  In Isaiah 42 He says I WILL NO LONGER BE SILENT. In Psalm 50 the LION says:

“These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you, And set them in order before your eyes. “Now consider this, you who forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, And there be none to deliver: Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.” Psalm 50:21

Scriptures say that as Israel approached the Promised Land, the shout of the King was among them! When the Army of God Crossed over the Jordan, the first city they took was Jericho—how?  With a GREAT SHOUT! The shout of the King that was with them, crashed the walls of Jericho.

The LORD Sabaoth is saying the Apostolic Age has begun! The Lord showed me that 2023 is the Year of the release of the Patriarchs and the Matriarchs who are here to lead his campaign. The body is moving from a stationary position into accelerated movement. What distinguishes true authentic Apostolic people? They are on the move! They are sent. They are sent having assignments given by God. In 2023 we will see the people of God moving out to become Apostolic—a notable move of a global army is underway! Be ready!
